Zerofy is an app that helps households decarbonise. You can track, understand and reduce your household carbon emissions in a simplified way. The app empowers you to make household switches to low-carbon energy and products, bringing you closer to a zero-carbon household.
1. TRACK YOUR DAILY CARBON FOOTPRINT, AUTOMATICALLY
Zerofy tracks and visualises your households emissions across four categories: mobility, home, food, and goods and services:
- Mobility emissions are tracked automatically by analyzing your motion and estimating transportation modes (car, train, plane, walking, cycling etc.). You can even add your car model to get highly accurate estimates!
- Home emissions are estimated from typical utility use in your region and by connecting smart home devices. You can see your hourly electricity use visualised in the app.
- Track emissions from your meals with a simple daily question, which just takes five seconds to answer.
- Goods and services are estimated by answering a simple weekly questionnaire, or automatically analysing your spending, if you choose to connect your credit card.
Our emissions calculations are based on the latest science and explained in the app.
2. VISUALISE YOUR DAILY CARBON FOOTPRINT
You can display and analyse your carbon emissions with daily, weekly, monthly and yearly charts. You can see and analyze breakdown into categories. You can set a target by when you want to reach zero emissions, and the app calculates your weekly budget.
3. REDUCE YOUR CARBON FOOTPRINT
Zerofy suggests actions that have the biggest impact on your carbon footprint, as well as innovative low-carbon products. You can switch to green energy providers, get solar on your rooftop or as part of our Shared Solar offering, learn about electric vehicle models, and more. You can also reduce your carbon emissions by purchasing Direct Air Capture of CO2.
4. ANALYZE YOUR HOME’S ENERGY CONSUMPTION
Connect your smart meter or enter meter readings manually to measure and analyze your energy consumption. Connect your smart home devices to track their consumption in detail, or use smart plugs to track energy consumption and CO2 emissions for any device in your home. We also show you the current CO2 intensity of your electricity.
